Real sustainability concerns us all …
Real sustainability concerns us all …
Everyone is talking about sustainability.
But do you actually know what it means? That’s exactly what we want to explain to you quickly and simply here … and show you what we at Kavalkade are doing to be sustainable in equestrian sport too.
We love the future.
Sustainability?
That means doing something today for the world of tomorrow!
As Robert Baden-Powell (founder of the worldwide scout movement) put it so well: “Try to leave this world a little better than you found it.”
Have you ever heard of the sustainability triangle?
This triangle shows you the three equal dimensions of sustainability. This triangle is framed by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals( SDGs) of Agenda 2023, which the global community developed within the UN in 2015. By the way, it gets even more sustainable here – where we explain everything in a little more detail.
Sustainability? From global to local!
GLOBAL
Sustainable Development Goals
The SDGs are a shared concept for peace and prosperity for the planet and its people – now and in the future.
EUROPE
The Green Deal and the 2030 Agenda
The big goal? Europe as the first climate-neutral continent! And that’s why everything here revolves around reducing emissions and the circular economy.
By the way: When it comes to the circular economy, we at Kavalkade can make a big difference! But more on that later …
GERMANY
The German Sustainability Strategy
The German Sustainability Strategy is based on the 2030 Agenda and links the transformation areas with the SDGs – main focus: circular economy and supply chain verification.
Fancy a little sustainable “trip around the world”?
Then come along and we’ll explain to you in a little more detail
what goals the world, Europe and Germany are pursuing and how to get there.
