Neck piece to extend the turnout rug "Montreal"
The "Montreal" neck piece has an ideal fit and keeps the horse''s neck warm thanks to the 100 g cotton lining. Like the turnout rug, the neck piece is windproof, waterproof and breathable (4000 mm water column, breathability 3000 g/ qm). To prevent slipping, two velcro fasteners are attached to the neck and two on the underside of the neck. The matching turnout rug for the neck piece is available under Art.-No. 467 40 (without filling), 467 12 (100 g filling) and 467 15 (200 g filling).

Usage
A neck piece is used in the colder months when not only the horse''s body but also the neck should be protected from the cold and wet. This is especially the case with sheared horses. The neck of the horse is very sensitive and, like the rest of the body, should be protected from the cold and wet. Especially in the rain, a neck part can prevent water from entering the ceiling at the neck.
