Turnout rug "Alaska IV" 100g

The Kavalkade outdoor rug Alaska IV impresses with its excellent fit.Available with different fillings for different weather conditions.

The material consists of a 1200 D ripstop polyester fabric with the following values: 4000 mm water column, breathability 3000 g/sqm in 24 hours.

The following features round off the blanket:
- Possibility of using leg loops,
- deep crupper,
- large tail flap,
- Loops for attaching a separately available neck piece,
- Withers pad inside,
- Cross surcingles with elastic insert,
- smooth inner lining,
- Double clip fastening with 2 rings for individual adjustment in the chest area,
- Shoulder gusset with elastic straps.

The rug is made without a back seam and with the withers pulled forward. This means that the actual length of the rug is approx. 10 cm longer than the measured length of the horse's back. This is intended so that the rug lies in front of the withers, provides optimum protection for the shoulder area and cannot slip behind the sensitive withers when the head is raised and lowered.

Please note the washing label.
Close the Velcro fasteners before each wash and store the blanket in a thick bag. The latter prevents the fittings from hitting the drum of the washing machine during the washing process, bursting open and rusting more quickly. Always wash outdoor blankets with a detergent for outdoor blankets. This prevents the blanket's lamination from being damaged as much. Wash the blanket at 30°C on a delicate or gentle cycle. Subsequent impregnation is not necessary, as the waterproofness of outdoor blankets is created by the lamination on the back of the fabric and impregnation can damage this.

We recommend that you have the blanket professionally dry cleaned.
