"SafeHeel" – The innovative alternative to the spur protection girth
During the clipping period or when changing coat, horses can react sensitively to spurs or the friction of the boot in the abdominal area. Many riders then use a spur protection girth. However, this also has some disadvantages: Possible heat build-up, correct attachment requires skill and experience, seams can cause pressure or chafing marks and a spur protection girth is visually very noticeable.
Our solution: “SafeHeel”
The innovative protective cover for the heel eliminates dangers during coat change or clipping period, such as the use of spurs or the friction of the boot, instead of burdening the horse with another product. Quickly and easily pulled around the heel of the boot, the wide velcro fastener ensures a precise and secure fit. What''s special: the inside is made of soft faux fur, which ensures gentler handling, especially on clipped horses. Skin irritations in the abdominal area can thus be avoided.
