Cork, sustainable and unique – Lace up boot "Cortica"
Products made of cork have long been available as a sustainable alternative to leather outside of equestrian sports. In equestrian sport, however, they are not so widespread. We want to change this from now on. As one of an equestrian company, we now offer Cork riding accessories made of cork. We want to leave a sustainable footprint and offer Cork horse lovers a great alternative to leather. The products have been developed and thoroughly tested for almost two years, constantly modified and adapted. The result is our sustainable and Cork collection “Cortica”, consisting of a bridle, reins, browbands, breastplate, chaps, ankle boots and spur straps.
The Cork, water-repellent lace up boots are an absolute eye-catcher on the foot thanks to the special material and the narrow bey decorative strip. The specially developed mouldings offer maximum wearing comfort. The boots are slim cut and have a relatively deep tension, which ensures that even narrow feet have a secure hold in the boots. The high-quality insole ensures optimal pressure distribution in the footbed and is breathable for a comfortable wearing feeling. The sturdy anti-slip rubber sole of the shoe is very flexible and allows anatomical unwinding and is therefore gentle on the joints.
The cork boot has a curved side zipper. This moulds pleasantly to the ankle. At the front there is an elastic lacing, which provides a good margin for more movement and greater moulding comfort.

Cork material – the Cork leather
Sustainable & Cork
As the bark of the cork oak, cork is a renewable, biodegradable raw material. The cork oak can grow over 300 years old and is peeled by hand about every 12 years during its life. This makes the tree more resilient and creates durable cork oak forests that prevent soil erosion, bind large amounts of CO2 and provide a very important ecosystem for many rare animals.
Durable & Unique
Cork material fabric, also called cork leather, is very tear-resistant, durable and water-repellent. The cork plates of the bark are bonded with an organic adhesive to form larger plates and cut thinly. Then they are put together like a jigsaw puzzle and applied to a fabric carrier material, sealed and can finally be further processed as cork fabric. Like leather, every cork fabric is a very special one-of-a-kind piece.
Easy to maintain
The care of cork products is done simply by gently wiping them with a damp cloth or sponge.
