The 2-point breastplate "Jérôme" made of high-quality oiled european leather is only attached to the sides of the saddle to prevent the risk of threading with the front hooves. The wide and soft chest padding ensures sufficient support for the saddle thanks to the side attachment and prevents it from slipping backwards. The anatomical shape and the elastic on the side straps give the horse the freedom it needs when jumping: Enough legroom and no constriction of the shoulders. The soft wither padding and the underlying rings and buckles also give the horse special comfort. The contrast stitching and the decorative embroidery on the chest pad with the Kavalkade emblem make the breastplate look elegant, despite its functionality.
Oiled leather is vegetable tanned and has its natural grain. It is treated with high-quality oils during the tanning process, making it very soft, water- and dirt-repellent. This means the leather remains supple, durable and easy to care for a long time. The special patina that develops with use is not a flaw, but rather gives the product a distinctive personality, individuality and character.
