Die Kavalkade Kandaren besitzen ein schwedisch-kombiniertes Reithalfter. Der Nasenriemen ist extra breit und besitzt ein weiches Unterpolster. Bei unseren Kandaren verwenden wir erstklassiges Qualitätsleder. Dabei haben wir eine einfache Kandare Dacira, eine schicke Kandare namens Cortina und eine elegante rundgenähte Kandare Comtess.
Unsere Kandaren sind weiche unterlegt und im Genickstück weit ausgespart. Zudem ist das Backenstück überlaufend und sorgt somit für weniger Verschnallungen an den Seiten.
Wegen der verschärften Einwirkung der Kandare müssen sowohl Reiter als auch Pferd einen fortgeschrittenen Ausbildungsstand in der Dressur haben. Hierbei ist wichtig, dass das Pferd auf Trense gut an den reiterlichen Hilfen steht. Eine zwanglose Anlehnung ist hierfür genauso notwendig wie Durchlässigkeit und eine vertrauensvolle Maul-Hand-Beziehung. Sollte es Probleme mit der Anlehnung auf Trense geben, so eignet sich die Kandare nur unter bestimmten Korrekturmaßnahmen.
Die Kandare dient dem erfahrenen Reiter zur Verfeinerung der Hilfengebung. Da durch die Hebelwirkung eine enorme Kraft aufgebaut werden kann, kann es bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch zu Verletzungen des Pferdemauls kommen. Daher sollte die Kandare nur von Reitern eingesetzt werden, die schon sehr sicher und gefühlvoll auf ihr Pferd einwirken können und die insbesondere die Hand unabhängig vom Sitz tragen können.
